How long have you been a DJ?

I started in the music and DJ business in 1992 down in Oklahoma. In 2000 I moved to Louisville. My company was Night Hawk Karaoke and DJ services. 2021 welcomed the birth of an expanded version of our company, Nighthawk Productions LLC, with a ton more services to offer.

When should we book our DJ?

A good time frame is at least six to twelve months out for a wedding. Less for other events Keep in mind Spring and Fall are considered "Wedding Season" and book out faster than other times of the year.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes we are! What legitimate business isn't? In Addition, many venues require vendors to be insured. Many request proof of insurance to be on file in advance. Be sure to ask your venue so we can quickly email our paperwork for them to have on file.

Does your photo booth come with props?

Absolutely! We only use professional props. We also sanitize them after every event.

Can I pick my own music?

Sure! You can be as hands on as you want with music selection. On the other hand, if you just want to let us handle it, we can read the crowd and keep your dance floor full.
